I am not finding a way to create the following account type, I may just be missing it.

I want users to be able to adit others works as the revisor role allows, with approval from the original author needed, but to be able to publish thier own original wokss. The website I am creating is for authors to be able to show works in progress, ask for revisions and edits and be able to reject or accept them from other authors

Sadly, that's not available as a Revisionary configuration option.

But you could make it work in conjunction with Role Scoper via Category Roles or direct-assigned Post/Page Roles.

If using Category / Term roles, give the [WP Author] group a "Post Revisor" role for all applicable categories, and also a Default Category Role of "Post Revisor".

If using Page roles, give the [WP Author] group a "Page Contributor" role for all applicable pages, and also a Default Page Role of "Page Contributor".

They will still be able to publish / edit their own published content based on their WP Author role.

I have made teh changes, they in general work, but when an author submits a page, it then requrires approval and is marked as pending, is there a way to alow authors to publish without pending thier own works?

Maybe you edited the WP Author role definition to remove the "publish_posts" or "edit_published_posts" capabilities? They both need to be there, and in the RS "Post Author" role (see Roles > Options > RS Role Defs).

I am keeping it to pages, not posts, but the edit and publish pages are there in WP. Also looks like the authors cannot approve a revision to thier story, the admin needs to, I will play with it some more, should tehre be any role restrictions set?

No, restrictions might be your problem. They could prevent caps in the WP Author role from being honored.

Can I ask if you are available to troubleshoot and what the cost would be?

I don't really have any time to consult right now. But if you want to drop me a login via the contact form, I will try to take a quick look at your config as time allows over the next couple days… with no guarantees.
