Hi Kevin,
thank you for this plugin!
As I try to use it for the first time now and my english isn't very good i've problems with the settings.
I've several editors, some should have access to the customized menus, because they should be able to publish new pages.
Is that possible with your plugin? How do I have to change the settings?
Thank you for your support in advance!

Are you referring to the custom menus access via Appearance > Menus ?
If so, your users' WordPress role must include the following capability: Edit theme options Role Scoper does not currently perform that task, but you can use a simple role editing plugin such as Capability Manager.
FYI, Role Scoper 1.2.7 does not filter the front-end display of menus based on RS roles and restrictions. However, the 1.2.9 and 1.3 release candidates (which are almost ready for stable release) do.

Hi Kevin,
first please excuse me for having posted in the wrong forum: it should have been in the support forum…
Thank you for your fast reply!
Yes it's about custom menus access via Appearance => Menus and I need it only for the backend.
The Plugin Directory says Capability Manager is only compatible up to WP 2.9.2. Do you know if it works with WP 3.0.1?

Yes, I haven't tried the Backup and Restore functionality lately but role creation and editing work fine on WP 3.0.1.

Hi Kevin,
I tried Capability Manager, but it seems that it doesn't work for custom menus.
But as you have updated Role Scoper it seems that it should be possible with Role Scoper now.
There is only one poblem left: it says that it also needs the edit_theme_options capability in the WordPress role and I can't find this setting.

If the "Edit theme options" checkbox is not available, you can add it using CM's "Add Capability" feature.
