One last thing and then I'll shut up for the weekend.
Not sure I'm using the right terminology here, but it would be great if in future releases of Role Scoper, Group meta data (?) were easier to access on the front-end.
As in what I'm trying to do in this thread
http://agapetry.net/forum/new-forum/access-rs-group-on-page/page-1/post-1206/#p1206
Like if there were set template tags (or functions?) that were identified in the admin user interface, so that you could easily access all Groups in an array, or all members in a Group in an array as called by Group name or ID. Also, to be able to easily identify which group a user is in on the front end.
So, for instance, when I place an author's bio in the sidebar, I could put in a call to see whether they belong to the Editors group, and display something accordingly. And, when I list the Association Officers, to be able to automatically cycle through the group called "Officers."
Make sense? Then, if you added the Position feature (see previous feature suggestion), Role Scoper could be used to define identities for use on the front-end as well as for permissions on the back-end. How awsome would that be??
