Just wondering, I'm using various Groups in my personal blog and assigning various users to these Groups. When I create a post, I mark it as Private, and in the Readers tab select the Groups that I am happy to allow see and read the post. This works fabulously.

I'm wondering if someone has access to read Private Posts that are assigned a particular Category, is it possible for that particular Category to show up in the Category List? For a random browser that is not logged in, the particular Category in the Category List does not display as there are no public posts in that particular Category. However if the user logs in with sufficient priviliges to read a particular post in a Category, I would like to see that Category pop up in the Category List in my sidebar.

I hope this makes sense! It was a feature of Disclose-Secret, so I know it must be possible *somehow*.

If it is possible to be able to do this with current version of Role Scoper, please let me know how! Otherwise, I would be honoured to submit it as a feature request

Very impressive turn-around time!! The "hidden" Page link is displaying correctly, as well as the "hidden" categories, only to the users that are logged in with permission to view the respective pages/categories. However, I don't think that the sub-categories are displaying.

For example, I have a category called "Private", and sub-categories called "Private-this" and "Private-that". A user that has permissions to view posts in this main and sub-categories can go to /category/private-this and view all the posts, but only the "Private" category is popping up in the category list.

Not a big issue at all, but thought I should point this out.
