404 page shows restricted menu items

This plugin is amazing. I have tried a lot of others, and this one does everything I needed to do. The only problem I have noticed is as follows:

When a file is attached to a restricted page, it is (quite correctly) not shown when the file url is browsed. The 404 page, though, does show a menu item for that restricted page.

The file I am talking about is at < http://portfolio-seminar.limewebs.com/wp-content/uploads/lake-louise.jpg >. The file is attached to a page called "Secure Sub", which is a child of a root page, "Secure". As you can see, "Secure" dowsn't show up in the menu, but "Secure Sub" does.

Interestingly, the 404 page displays correctly for restricted pages (if you click on "Secure Sub" for example).

This is pretty minor, all things considered, but the plugin is that close to perfect …

Hello

I have installed your Role Scoper after trying many, it is giving me the behavior I am expecting from it in terms of not showing the content of a 'member only" page that I have on my site while allowing the other pages to be viewed. I am using twentyten theme variation "2010 Weaver by WPWeaver". My problem is that the member only page although is "restricted for groups" for all users (admin, editor, author, contr, subscriber), it is still showing in the main page menu. When a user whose allowed to see it click the item in the menu, he can see the page fine (as supposed to), but a non logged in (anonymous) or subscriber (which i resitricted from reading this page) do see the page on the menu as an item to click, when they click it they get the "404″ error.  I dont want the page to show on the menu unless the user is allowed to view the page. How do I do this?

I am using WP 3.0.1 and the most recent Role Scoper available on WP which is RS 1.2.7.

Plz advice

much appreciated
