Admin Bar Not Restricting Adding Post

I have created a custom post type which I have assigned a role only to edit these noting else in the site, which I have managed but with the new admin bar in 3.1 on the front end  it gives the option to add a new post and add new custom post. Any suggestions on how to restrict adding new post on front end admin bar.

Hope this makes sense

Filtering of "Add New" links in the Admin Bar is a new feature in the updated Role Scoper development version (1.3.28-dev).
