I've spent a bit of time this morning trying to determine how to allow users to upload media. All I was able to find was "Media Library" under "Role Scoper Options".
What do I need to do to be able to provide a user the ability to upload media and insert it into a post?

The need the "upload_files" capability. If you've added that to their WP role, also add it to the corresponding RS role ( Roles > Options > RS Role Defs ).

So I'm finding that only new posts can have images added by the user. After the image has been put into draft, published, etc. the user loses the ability to add media on that post.

What role assignment did you add upload_files to? Make sure it's in Roles > Options > RS Role Defs > [Post Type] Author also.

This may be overkill but I figured it would be easier. I went ahead and verified the "Support" role was a QA Contributor. I then tried to set the "upload files" setting and "assign post tag" it simply redirected me back to features and didn't change the setting.
