Allow Subscriber to upload media?

Hi Kevin,

Just so you know where I'm coming from, a while back we had a discussion in this topic.

Back then I wanted the 'client' user of my blog to only be able to edit existing pages and not create new ones. The way you showed me to accomplish this was to give the user a WP role of Author (because back then I wanted him to be able to make new posts, just no pages) and then assign the user as Editor in Page edit mode. This works really well.

But now I've decided to allow the client user just to edit existing pages and not even create or edit posts (because I won't be using them), so I've changed the role to Subscriber. While still assigning the user as Editor to the pages, this works exactly as expected.

My question is: is it possible to allow this user with the Subscriber role to upload media, like images? I couldn't find anything in the general WP settings and the Role Scoper plugin didn't seem to support this at first glance. I'm really curious to your response on this.

Thanks a lot in advance!

- AmiKaze.

Sorry for the long delay in answering this.

On my test install (both version 0.9.27 and 1.0.0 Beta 1), Subscribers who have the Page Editor role on a specific page can upload images or other media to that page.  Are yours unable to do that, or is there something else you had in mind?
