Hi

I have just started using this plugin, and I have spent quote some time looking through this forum

I created a user to create and edit posts, but i want to give them a role to add posts and pages to the menu,

I cannot seem to get this working


Any ideas?

The Nav Menu Manager role assignment is a fairly new feature which is not fully fleshed out in 1.3.27.

You will find it working as expected in the just-updated Role Scoper development code:

  • Nav Menu Manager role can be assigned to users who do not have edit_theme_options capability
  • Nav Menu Manager role can be assigned site-wide (via General Roles)
  • For Nav Menu Management, option to list only user-editable content as available items (Roles > Options > Features tab > Nav Menu Management)
