Hi,

First of all, congratulations to the developper of this amazing plugin, this is a "time-saver" !

About my question, I don't know if it directly comes from Role Scoper but I read a post that was dealing with it so…

How could I disable the author override (in all cases, even if for me it's when an author write a post) ?

Thanks,

ValRS.

I'm not sure what you mean by "author override." Can you explain further?

Hello,

Actually, I allowed the authors to post articles in some specific categorie and it works. The problem is that the author can choose another author (in the dropdownlist) to be the author of the article. After that if he chose another author, he will not have the post avalaible in his personnal articles' list, ok, but I would like this "author" dropdown list to not be displayed at all or with no other people than the connected author himself available in the drowpdown list.

Where do you think this comes from ?

Thanks.

Try disabling this option:

Roles > Options > Features tab > Content Maintenance > "filter users dropdown"

If the option is not checked I have the list of each author in the dropdown whereas if I check the option each author is written twice…

I don't understand… I would like that there is just the author who is connected (or not the dropdown at all).

I will plan to investigate the double entry as a bug and add your desired "lock author" functionality to my feature requests wish list.

I confirmed duplicate entries in Author dropdown if RS editing roles have been assigned to WP role groups. This is fixed in the updated Role Scoper development version (1.3.28-dev).
