Hello,

I have RS setup on a site with some custom roles, which are assigned to Authors.  What i've noticed with the custom post types that i have, is that an author can see other author's posts, which are currently in draft mode, or pending mode.  Is this a known issue? Or is there something i need to do to fix this? THanks!!

By custom roles, do you mean a modified capability set? If so, what are those capabilities?

Are you using supplemental role assignments provided by Role Scoper or just a customized WP role? If RS, what type of role assignment - General Roles, Taxonomy Roles, Post / Page Roles?

Keep in mind that if you assign a supplemental "Post Editor" role, that will enable your user to edit the post regardless of who authored the post.
