After upgrading to 1.1.7, I noticed that there are a bunch of files in wp-content/cache that seem to belong to role-scoper. I never saw these files before, and haven't changed any options. " Cache roles and groups to disk" is disabled.
The files are all under a parent directory that seems to be a UID string, and contains:
all_terms
rs_applied_object-roles
rs_object-roles_for_user
rs_object_def_restrictions
…

Are those the only four, or does … mean that there are others?
If you delete these, are they regenerated?

and rs_object_restrictions_post and index.php
I didn't delete them cuz I wasn't sure it was safe - I can delete them without *any* concern of i.e. private stuff getting revealed, etc?

No concern because even if they are being used they're just a copy of the result set of database queries which will be re-executed in their absence.

Should I delete the whole "c9782b79f4f8acbb51a79bd300327ace" folder, or just its contents?

Deleted & refreshed a couple pages, the folder hasn't come back yet - I'll let you know if it does.
Wonder how it got there in the first place though, it for sure wasn't there about a week ago…
