Hi, we have a problem houston 
installed ltest version this evening, thought i followed instructions correctly to restrict contributors so they can only add new posts in Blog category.
Now no posts are found, and I cannot login as admin because my login form is in a post!
nearly ready to go live with an upgraded site and cannot troubleshoot anything, cant get in. Any help much appreciated

You will need to leave the Post Reader or Page Reader role unrestricted for the post/page with your login form (and any others which should be readable by anonymous users).
Can't you still manually access siteurl/wp-admin/ ?

ok, that worked, I feel a little stupid. must be because it is 3.30 in the morning! Its been a while since I changed to the customised login page.
So what do I need to untick, to restore order?

Oh, it seems to be back to normal except the /login.

I'm guessing you set a default Page Restriction on the Page Reader role and/or a default Category Restriction on the Post Reader role.

Right, I will bookmark this conversation and return to troubleshooting it later. I have disabled the plugin and /login is back in action, just like your plugin info states, nothing has been spoilt.
