Hi,

I have installed Role-scoper and easy-post-types plugin.

I have created a new post type 'FAQ'.

I have added the editor group  for DEFAULTS for new FAQs: under roles and resctictions. also i have given editor permission to some of the FAQs.

The editor user group now is able to edit the FAQs but not create a new FAQ. When i go to new post, enter info n click publish, i get the message "You are not allowed to edit this post."

What might be missing for this user role. Please suggest…

Setting FAQ Restrictions are probably unnecessary and will complicate your configuration.

Instead, try assigning a General Role of "FAQ Author" to users who should create new FAQs. FAQ-specific editor role assignments are for enabling the editing of a specific FAQ.
