I had it working previously, and now I can't get file filtering to work at all. I've tried it in 3 different wordpress installations, the latest is a very barebones one. Happy to give you access if you want to take a look.
I have several issues:
1) some of the attachments say they are unfilterable
2) even the one that is filterable is accessible without being logged-in.
I think I set everything up according to directions. The page titled "Private" is indeed hidden when not logged in. But the files that are attached to it are accessible if you know the url.
I notice that although RoleScope did create an .htaccess file in the root directory, there is not another .htaccess file in uploads and I think there is supposed to be one there.
Here's what the file attachement utiility says:
checking 5 posts / pages…
skipping unfilterable file in Page "Private": /wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Web-spec-Country-Breakfast.pdf
attachment OK in Page "Private": http://bridge.dgalv.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Web-spec-Ala-King.pdf
Operation complete: 1 linked uploads were found in your post / page content.
All linked uploads are already registered as attachments.
I've been trying to debug this for a week and am completely stuck. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
