I'm working on a future website which I would like to deal with specific roles. So I'm trying Role Scoper 1.2.2 with Wordpress 3.0 (tested on RC1 and RC2-15136) and I'm having these issues :

• I can't change an article's category with Quick Edit or Edit (it acts as if no category was given so it's filed under Uncategorized) when logged in as admin.
• Same issue if I try to write a new article. Even if I check one or more categories, the article appears as Uncategorized, still logged in as admin.

I'm not yet very familiar with RS, but I've tested on a fresh local install of Wordpress 3.0 without changing anything in RS config and the issue is there.

Also tried on a fresh 2.9.2 install and I can change the categories as I want so I guess the problem is WP3.0 related.

I think version 1.2.3 might have the fix you need.
