Hey Kevin,
Another bug report. This occurs with the latest version (1.3.14) as well as the previous version I was using (1.3.11). The following call:
$comments = get_comments("number=14&status=approve");
returns comments that are marked as spam (when RS is active), resulting in my "Recent Comments" widget showing all comments rather than just approved ones. The problem goes away when RS is deactivated (and didn't happen with previous versions, though I'm not sure exactly what version introduced the bug).
J~

Fixed in the just-updated development version. Thanks for letting me know.

Is this fairly near a final release? Since I'm leaving for my trip in 24hrs and this is a bug that's very noticable to others rather than just myself, I wouldn't mind getting it going before I take off

…Or alternatively, is there somewhere I can quickly hack to get this fixed just in the interim? I leave the country in less than 12hrs and it would be nice to spare my readers all those ads for viagra, but I probably don't have time to do my usual thorough testing after an upgrade

I just released Role Scoper 1.3.15 with the comment filtering fix. As always, it may take a few minutes to come available at wordpress.org and in your wp-admin. The only changes from 1.3.14 are in hardway/hardway-front_rs.php, function flt_recent_comments.
