conflict between "More Fields" and Role Scoper

The most recent versions of Role Scoper (1.0.0-rc9.9227) and More Fields (1.2.8) don't like to play with each other under WordPress 2.7.1.

To me/on first sight it appears more like a problem on the side of More Fields, but that plugin works fine with Role Scoper switched off.

Problem: Assume we have a custom post type of type post created with MF and labeled "Agenda". If I try to "Add a new" Agenda entry I get referred to the WP/generic "Add new" Post menu/template. A little bit as if I was not allowed to add an Agenda entry (I'm working as an WP-Admin, though).

As MF also has an option per (custom) post type of "minimum access rights required" I could imagine a conflict there, when both plugins try to control the access.

That's why I post it here. Maybe someone else is experiencing similiar problems? MF is a very nice plugin, after all.

Are you sure? I installed More Fields (nice functionality, I agree), and defined a custom type, based on Post and with most default boxes disabled. When I click "Add New Agenda", I see "Add New Post" and all the default boxes… until the page is done loading and the MoreFields javascript kicks in to hide the boxes and change the title to "Add New Agenda". This is the behavior regardless of whether Role Scoper is installed.

If your edit form truly never snaps into "Agenda" mode, there must be something preventing the javascript from firing. Does your browser give any indication of a script error? Role Scoper will slightly delay the loading of your form due to the role assignment boxes it adds.

update: The people of MoreFields got this problem fixed (it appears as if it was browser related, i.e. didn't work in Opera)
