EDIT: I read a post below about the same Embedding issue and fixed my problem. I had to assign the unfiltered_html capability to the Contributor role. I should have done more research before posting, sorry!

I'm not convinced this is a problem Role Scoper can help me with… but you never know!

WordPress is removing any embedded YouTube videos that my Contributors and Authors are making. I allow Contributors to post on the Front Page category. They can attach images and post normally, but when they embed a YouTube video and click to Publish or Save their post, Wordpress removes the video from the post automatically and they are left with nothing.

The Contributor and Author roles are set for File Upload using both Role Scoper and Capability Manager,  but still the problem persists. I've also tried with and without the Visual Editor.

Is there anything I can do from a permissions point-of-view to get this working? Or will I have to dive into code?
