Hi All,
* user1 and user2 in group1.
* user3 and user4 in group2.
* group1 can edit page1 & page2.
* group2 can edit page3 & page4.
* groups can only edit their own pages
* How can I do it with Role Scoper?

Hi,
* I understand I can assign groups or users to specific pages, but this is a problem.
* I created a new user and assign him only 1 existing page (can view or edit 1 page only), but he can see or edit all pages.

1. Either give each user a WordPress role that does not support page editing OR go to Restrictions > Pages and set a Default Restriction on the Page Editor role
2. Assign page-specific Page Editor role to groups as desired.

Sound like you may have missed step 1 in the instructions I just posted above.

I've only just installed this plug in. I run a biz directory (free of charge) in my village. Some of the folks dont have a website so i tought it would be nice to let them have thier own page. Of course that means just giving them access to that 1 page alone. No blogging, no posting just text and pictures.
I just can't seem to get it working. If there is a walkthrough or similar assistance i'd appreciate it.
I have not even started the area for new users yet so It's a fresh install and I want to get it right. I would donate to the cause here to or pay for some assitance. Many thanks

* Give users in question a WordPress role of Subscriber.
* Go to Roles > Pages. Select checkbox for desired user. Scroll down and select Page Editor checkbox for the desired page. Click Update button. Repeat for each user/page combination.
* Go to Roles > Options. In the "Content Maintenance" section, set "Roles and Restrictions can be set:" to "blog-wide Editors and Administrators". This eliminates the Roles / Restrictions menu items.
* Any other undesired menu items can be hidden via the Adminimize plugin.
