Hi,

I am using Role Scoper in a multisite environment.

Since I updated to the version 1.3.36, I get this php error in role scoper whenever I try to access my site without being logged as administrator:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; line-height: 19.0px; font: 13.0px Times; color: #444444}

Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/educo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/role-scoper/qry-front_non-administrator_rs.php on line 74

I can still access the back-end, but no longer the front-end.

This problem does not seem to affect all sites on the network, though.

I would like to try to revert to a previous version, but I cannot remove the plugin from the network (even when deactivated, the "delete" option is not available).

Would you know what the problem could be, or how I could go back to a previous version?

Thanks in advance.

OK, so after further testing, I can confirm that the bug exists but it is in fact not specific of the last version (it is the same with v1.3.34).

It is linked to the use of tags items in a custom menu (which explains why other sites of the network, that do not use them did not have the bug).

So, to reproduce it, just add a tag entry to a custom menu and access a page where the corresponding wp_nav_menu() occurs without being logged in as admin.

Let me know if you need more details.

This is fixed in the updated development version (1.3.37-dev).

By the way, how did you add post tags to the Nav Menu? My Appearance > Menus UI doesn't offer then, so I had to manually edit the DB.

I just discovered this possibility — and this is why I just discovered the bug ;)

On the custom menu admin page, click on the screen option (top right). There you will see the "Post tags" option, unchecked by default (who knows why). Just click on it and voilà!

Many thanks for your reactivity.
