Hi there

Just wondering if this plugin works with the tools area. I want to be able to limit my client to updating pages and posts and getting access to the tools area so they can back up the database on a regular basis.

Is this possible with this plugin?

No, Role Scoper doesn't alter Tools menu access since this is already possible with other plugins. Try Adminimize to limit the menu items/pages available to each WordPress Role. If necessary, you can define additional WP Roles using Capability Manager.
