hey,

how can I realize that all users within a UserGroup can edit only the assigned pages to this group?

Currently I have a UserGroup with the following role and definitions: author, "edit…" and "edit published".
This group shall be allowed to edit all pages assigned to this UserGroup. So if user A created a page, then also user B should be able to edit this page, because the page is assigned to the same UserGroup.

If a assign the definition "edit others" to the UserGroup, then user A can also edit the page of user B, but as well all other pages, which don't belong to this UserGroup.

Can you guess what I mean?

Any help would be very appreciated Smile

Automatic customization of access based on page author (or the page author's group membership) is not supported. However, there are two ways to accomplish your functionality:

1) Define a custom taxonomy "Page Group", with terms corresponding to your role groups. Store the appropriate term(s) for each page. Then go to Roles > Page Groups and assign the "Page Editor" role within term "Group1″ to the group "Group1″

2) For each page in question, manually assign the Editor role to "Group1″
