I'm looking at using Role Scoper for a site that has a combination of open and subscriber-only content.

Ideally there would be a way to query posts to show posts in a certain category AND that are restricted (and not the non-restricted posts) - so when combined with the teaser, I could:

- have a Subscriber-only content section on the Homepage

- list some juicy content titles & excerpts

- use this as a way of tempting non-Subscribers to sign up


Is this something that RS can do?

Any thoughts / help much appreciated.

The simplest solution would be to just give all your restricted posts a visibility of private. Then you could just include post_status=private as a query arg. If that's not possible and you're comfortable investigating the schema and writing some SQL, you can always construct your own SQL query, joining wp_role_scope_rs with wp_posts and/or wp_term_taxonomy.
