Thanks for a great product - my configuration is Wordpress 3.01 an Role Scoper 1.3.8. After upgrading to the latest 1.3.8 this is issue appeared.

Categories that should be hidden to a viewer are revealed when any single page is selected from the menu. the restrictions still work and the viewer cannot see the content but they are shown the hidden categories.

The home view shows what the user should see, click on the pages from the top menu and you can see the exposed menu on the navigation bar beneath the header shows the reader restricted categories. Teasers are set to not show. I have set Role Scoper to defaults and also removed all restrictions and roles in an attempt to fix the issue nothing has affected this condition. The site is now set back to the original configuration.
