I have a current situation where I'd like to show users that are not logged in specific pages and remove them once a user has logged in. I tried creating a new role that was reader specific, but that didn't seem to work.

I also saw a post that refered to define( 'SCOPER_ANON_METAGROUP', true );it was from 2009 and didn't seem to describe how to make an anon role or really provide any details beyond how it was upcoming in a dev release.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By defining in my wp-config.php:

define( 'SCOPER_ANON_METAGROUP', true );

Testing was thwarted because I was using the admin user who does not seem to ever get restricted in this example.

Works great for all other user roles.
