hi,
RS looks like a great plugin.
A question: I have defined a user as a member to a group that has PageEditor permissions on a specific page (through the rs-page-roles admin page). I would like to enable members of this group to add child pages.
However, when I go to the rs-options admin page to edit the RSRoleDefinitions for PageEditor, it does not let me put a check mark in the CreateChildPages box.
How do I configure RS to give a specific group PageEditor privileges for a specific page and let it also create subpages for that page.
(In the PagesRoles page, I have specified the AssignmentMode to be 'Assign for Selected and Sub-Pages).
Thanks for your help!

Give your user(s) a General Role of Page Author. RS will filter their Page Parent selections to pages for which they have a Page Editor or Page Associate role.

Dear Kevin,
Thank you so much for your timely reply!
I tried what you suggest and could still not get it to work. With a general role of Author, WP did no allow them to create pages. With a general role of editor, the user could add pages, but everything was fair game. I wonder what I'm doing wrong!
In any case, I would prefer to deal with a 'granting permissions' model rather than a 'removing permissions' model.
Is it possible to have a user be a Subscriber and grant her permission to only view/edit pages in a particular pages subtree AND allow them to add pages within that particular subtree?
Thanks again for your assistance.

(I want to clarify that this particular site is built pretty much on pages only).

By "General Role", I'm not referring to the WP role. I mean the supplemental sitewide role you can assign via Roles > General. That assignment should be Page Author.
