How to restore missing Custom Fields while editing posts

Users with restricted roles could not see custom fields while editing or writing a post. The solution to this is:

Roles > Options > Advanced

Scroll down to:

Limited Editing Elements > Post Edit Form HTML IDs

Remove from the list:

postcustom
