How to restrict postings by Role on each page?

I need to restrict who can post on each page in our blog by Role type.  I see lots of plug-ins to restrict who can "ACCESS" an individual page by Role type but none to restrict who can "POSt" by role type.

Can anyone tell me how to do this with the standard WP configuration or point me to a plug-in that will let me do this with WP?

With Role Scoper, it's a two step process:

1. In Restrictions > Category, restrict the Post Contributor (and if desired, Post Author) role for desired categories

2. In Roles > Category, assign the Post Contributor or Post Author role to desired Group(s), for desired categor(ies)

Thanks, Kevin, for reply, but I am not really using categories so I can't do it this way.

I have three pages in the blog and am not using categories.  I want to assign page specific permissions to the different roles for each page as follows:

1)  welcome page:  Read and comment reply permissions for anyone who visits the page; post/edit permission only held by the administrator.

2) customer page:  Read permissions for anyone who visits the page; reply permissions only for admin, editors, authors; post/edit permissions for only admin, authors, and editors.

3) guide page:  Read permissions for anyone who visits the page; reply permissions only for admin, editors, and authors; post/edit permission only for the administrator.

Can anyone advise me how to setup Role Scoper plug-in to WordPress to do this?

To limit editing access, your required settings are right in the Edit Page form. All you need to do is check the "Restrict for Page" checkbox in the "Editors" metabox. Then (in the same "Editors" metabox) select the users and/or groups who should edit the page. If you are also running Revisionary, also restrict the Contributor and Revisor roles.

Role Scoper does not support per-post customization of comment reply permissions.

OK, I understand how to restrict postings on my guide page, but on my Customer page, I want to only allow registered "contributors" to be able to post on that page and not allow any other role to post to it.  Can you advise me how to do that?

I'm not sure what you mean by "able to post on that page." Do you mean edit the page? Or create a subpage of it?
