Hello!

I want to use role scoper but it doesnt work, i think i doin some stupid fault.

I want to make some groups of users which all have to see (only see not edit) posts from specified categories. I think this easy to do with role scoper but it doesnt work.

1. I make users, make group of users, add users to group, make [Post Reader] for all categories as restricted, next one i going to ROLE - and assing group (name:PRODUCTION) to [Post Reader] in specified categories (name`s: PRODCAT, USING).

2. Next i`m goin create post - i select specified categories (PRODCAT, USING) which i assign earlier in point 1 and public that post.

In this way result should be that - some of users belongs to group - PRODUCTION after login on site should see on my www post from specified categories (PRODCAT, USING). Is that right ?

Unfortunately result is that i dont see any posts if i logged as user from groups - PRODUCTION.

Please help - i`m new in role scoper please give me solution easy one be one step ;)

The configuration steps you describe are valid, and work as expected in my own trial with both the current release (RS 1.2.7) and the beta version (1.2.8-beta.2).

Did you double-check your group membership and role assignments? Does the role assignment show on the user profile? If so, a next diagnostic step is to temporarily disable other plugins and/or switch to the default theme.
