Hi

I just installed on a WP site running agains SQL Server DB; now when I try to access the site it puts up the new install.php page.

It doesnt look like the wp_config.php file has been modified.

Was there something special I should have done in this case ? (apart from a backup; but it was a brand new installation anyway)

Regards

Charles

Looking at this further I'm wondering if the Role Scoper is somehow in conflict with the WP Db Abstraction plugin which otherwise seemed to be working OK

Are there any logs written during plugin installation ?

Why would it not role back or the like rather than what seems to be that the site has been set to corrup / reinstall or the like.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as we need both SQLS and Authentication / AUthorising etc.

Charles

Yes, another user reported a conflict with WP DB Abstraction. Not sure if/when I'll deal with that.

I'm having this same issue. I definitely know it's a conflict with Role Scoper running on the WP Db Abstraction plugin (located here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-database-abstraction/). Once Role Scoper is activated it throws an error, and even deleting the Role Scoper plugin files completely and restoring the database does not fix it. I have to role back my entire VM to a previous state.

My questions are:

1) Do you think you'll ever fix this (I know only 3 of us have had this problem that we know of so far…)

2) I wouldn't mind purchasing your Press Permit plugin instead of using Role Scoper (would buy the $200 developers license for all of our sites) if I knew it would not throw this same error. Is there any way I can test it before purchase and/or get a refund if it doesn't work with the WP Db Abstraction plugin?

Thanks for your time!

Brian
