We were using Wordpress Version 2.8.4 and Role Scoper 1.0.8.

We upgraded to Wordpress Version 3.0.4.

I did a clean install of RoleScoper 1.3.27 (upgrading created internal server errors and broke the site).

All seems to be working and my various roles are availbe and users can log in.  However now they have insufficient privelages to upload pdfs. Any advice where to look?

Make sure their role assignment includes the upload_files capability.

That's as specific as I can be without knowing more about your configuration.

My problem continues…I have a bunch of users as "subscribers" who I have given permission on various pages and with categories on posts.  

On some of my posts I'm using the Custom Field Template plugin for them to upload PDFs. It still says I have insufficient access privileges to upload the file in the field I set up. (They can upload files fine through the default media loader)

I believe I gave all users permission to upload files.
