I'm a novice at all this, so please bear with me if it's a forehead-smacker:

Our kiddie day-care's web site uses WP as a CMS. there had been persistant issues so I decided to start afresh with a new MYSQL database, php5 as standard, latest WP and plugins, etc. So far so good.

It's easy to export and reimport all the WP-managed content. But what about all my >50 role scoper users, rights and restrictions? Is there an easy way to transfer all them easily? can i just copy and overwrite the new RS plugin folder?

I'm on the latest version of SR on both sites, if that helps.

I'd greatly appreciate any assistance.

thanks for that critical tip.

I had mismatched table names and some version/compatibility errors, so it wasn't possible to overwrite the tables.

In the end, i was successfull exporting the tables data as CSV files and reimporting them into the new tables, which had already been created upon installiation.

this step was also necessary for

wp_users.csv and wp_usermeta.csv, so that RS knew who it was to manage.

I used phpMyAdmin, the default settings for the export, and imported the data via sql - insert text file to table function.
