I think I am just too stupid to use this plugin.  I looked at all the materials and still don't get it.  I only see one screen shot that shows a little of what I see.

On pages - I see a check box AND an dditional check box between { }  for each and every role.  What am I doing wrong?  Should I have something else set up prior?

I see that Simple: Press Forum is in use on this site.

There are  two things I want to accomplish with this plugin.

1.Subscribed users can post to one category only.

2. The link to the Simple: Press Forum page is hidden except when logged in. Then all the users, subscribers through admins are able to post to the forum.  I've accomplished hiding the link and I think that the forum is read/write by all but the copious double checkboxes are throwing me a curve ball.

Like I said- I am just too stupid… when I start looking at all the options I worry  about  trashing the site.

It is embedded in a page.  If I use Role Scoper to hide that page so that only users that are logged in can see it, will it affect the fiunctionality of the forum at all?  I am thinking "no" by what you just responded.
