A new bug was introduced in 1.3.43: recent comments returned by get_comments("status=approve"); included comments on a page which is not accessible to the anonymous (non-logged-in) user.  This did not occur in 1.3.42.

(In other words, when not logged into the blog, I could see comments that'd been left on a private page that I'm not supposed to be able to access.)

Can you confirm the fix in 1.3.44-dev?

Looks like that fixes the issue (I didn't test any further than that one bug, though)
