Have a few categories, translated with WPML, display of category-box when posting and editing works as expected
- as long as Role Scoper is not installed.
Article in language 1, category-box:
- Category 1 (lang. 1 locale)
- Category 2 (lang. 1 locale)
Article in language 2, category-box:
- Category 1 (lang. 2 locale)
- Category 2 (lang. 2 locale)
After installing & activating Role Scoper plugin for the first time, without even opening any settings-page of Role Scoper, it looks like this when trying to add a new and also edit an existing article:
Article in language 1 category-box:
- Category 1 (lang. 2 locale)
- Category 1 (lang. 1 locale)
- Category 2 (lang. 2 locale)
- Category 2 (lang. 1 locale)
Article in language 2 category-box:
- Unknow, because language 2 link in top-right language-box does not work any more, if language-switch in top-bar is used to display the page in language 2, a message appears: Not enough rights to edit…
As soon as I disable the Role Scoper plugin, all is back to normal.
Note: No settings at all were entered in Role Scoper. Some default setting seems to 1. kill the WPML language box and 2. messes up the category-box.
Is Role Scoper not compatible with WPML? Which setting can I try?
Please answer soon, my client wanted to use Role Scoper, but with this behaviour it is unacceptable.
WP 3.2.1, WPML 2.3.4, Role Scoper 1.3.44
