Order of posts on the front page for logged in admin?

I just downloaded the very latest version and installed it, but when I activated it I noticed the order of the posts on the front page went from the default "new to old" to "old to new", but only for the logged in admin.  When I check it another browser for an unauthenticated user, the order is fine.

Is this a bug?  I didn't touch any options in scoper, just activated it and then deactivated to fix the problem.

That's new to me, and I haven't been able to reproduce it yet. Can you give me a list of other plugins (or possibly even troubleshoot for possible conflict)?

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to troubleshoot it - starting with disabling any existing plugins - and get back to you.

I second that prob - but it just happens when using the hybrid framework. Cry

It happens not only for the admin, but for all users. And it happens in the main view (all articles) and in the archives view, BUT NOT in the tag archive view. I really have no idea how to troubleshoot that…

I've installed the Hybrid theme on my test site and the posts are still running newest first. Can you tell me any non-default configurations you've set for Hybrid or Role Scoper?

Can someone who is experiencing this behavior send me an ftp login to the role-scoper directory? I just haven't been able to reproduce this or guess at its cause.

I have the same problem here. I just installed Role Scoper and now the order for my articles is wrong, but only when I am logged in.

Edit: I still have got the problem if I deactivate all plugins except Role Scoper.

Is this a site you could give me some diagnostic access to? If so, you can use the Contact Form to send it. With an ftp to the role-scoper folder I could probably track it down without much trouble. If nothing else, a look at your template code could be helpful.
