Page Editor Role & WP 3.0

I love this plugin.

I have a new install of Role Scoper 1.2.7 on WP 3.0. I have given one Subscriber the Editors role for a single page. When the Subscriber visits the editable page, the Edit link is not displayed. In the Admin area, the Subscriber only sees the View and Trash links for the page, but not the Edit link.

I know this works because I have used Role Scoper on a 2.9.2 WordPress installation.

Any suggestions?

I'm not feeling the love since there hasn't been any kind of response to this post. Is anyone else having this issue, or is it just me?

Just to be sure, I did a clean install of Wordpress 3.0 and Role Scoper 1.2.7. No other plugins are active.

I have a user with the Wordpress role of Subscriber. Let's call him User X. I want User X to have editing privileges on only the History page. I have assigned User X the Scoped Role of Page Editor for the History page. This is confirmed on User X's user page and on the Page Roles page. (This is the same setup as I used in Wordpress 2.9.2.)

When I login as User X and open the History page, no Edit link is displayed as there was in WP 2.9.2.

Next, I opened User X's admin page. Under Pages, the History page is listed. However, there is no Edit link. The only links displayed are Trash and View.

So, do I have this setup correctly? If not, can someone explain what I have missed? If the setup is correct, is this a bug with the WP 3.0 and RS 1.2.7 combination? If it is a bug, can we expect a bug fix within a reasonable time? Time estimate?

Thanks.

This has worked as expected for me in several recent trials. I emailed you in case you want me to take a quick look at your configuration.

Thank you for your quick reply. I continued my troubleshooting by doing a clean install on a completely different domain. Role Scoper worked as expected as you suggested. Therefore, I went back to my problem install and was able to discover a conflict with the Exec-PHP plugin. With the Exec-PHP plugin activated, you will see the behavior I described in my posts. With Exec-PHP deactivated, there is no apparent problem with Role Scoper. Why the two plugins conflict, I don't know.
