Hello,
I just upgraded to the new version of Role Scoper 1.3.45 and am now getting an issue. When an Editor first logs in to the Wordpress backend, they get a "Don't have persmissions to view this page" message. I'm using the Adminize plugin and have set the first page they see to wp-admin/edit.php.
However, when I go to this page manually (wp-admin/edit.php), it shows up fine. Any idea on why this is happening?

Where exactly is that Adminimize setting? I'm not seeing it.

I found the setting and set Editor redirect to edit.php, but no error message with WP 3.2.1. Have you customized WP or RS role definitions? Any restrictions set?

Hey Kevin,
Looks like I'm still getting this error, after upgrading from 1.3.44 to either 45 or 46. Basically, when the user first logs in, they get the message on domain.com/wp-admin: "Don't have persmissions to view this page", but they're able to access other backend pages if they're entered into the browser URL bar directly.
I tried deactivating the Adminimize plugin and this still happens. I also tried changing the user role of the user, and the only one that doesn't experience this issue is Administrator.
I have custom WP / RS role definitions set. No restrictions though, I don't think.
Any ideas?

I'm still not seeing this.
Do you have Adminimize set to the edit.php dropdown item or a custom-entered URL.
