I wonder how the plugin works. I set it up and it worked. After I added 1 editor-rights, it changed more. Really don't know what I changed.

1. My user has WP Role - Subscriber. He is in my user group.

2. In restriction - categories - all roles restricted beside Post Reader.

3. In restrictions - Post - all roles restricted beside Post Reader.

4. General - Posts - my user group as Post editor.

5. Roles - categories - Post Editor for category he should be able to write.

After writing a post, he can go to button PUBLISH (saying which category) but after that it switch automatically to Uncategorized and SUBMIT TO REVIEW.

Thanks you very much for help, I'm really trying a lot without result.

I don't know exactly what you mean by "restricted for his page." If you have restricted the Page Editor role for that page, the user will also need a Page Editor role assignment for it. Otherwise once the page status changes to published, his other role assignments are no longer sufficient to edit it.

Let me know if I have misunderstood you.
