Have user xxx
Editor

DEFAULTS for all Posts:
Post Reader Unrestricted
Post Contributor Restricted
Post Editor Restricted

Then in Roles - Posts:
Have added user xxx to be post editor for all new posts and all existing posts

But xxx cannot add posts?

Have I done something stupid?

Great plug-in by the way, very powerful indeed.

Hmm, my recent change in the "Add New" filtering didn't account for your configuration. I'll address that in the next version, but for now you can recover by adding this to wp-config.php:

define( 'SCOPER_LEGACY_MENU_FILTERING', true );
