Hi,

I like the plugin really much as it helped me to separate sub-pages for my user.

All my users are CONTIRBUTORs and then I'm adding them additional rights for different Categories or Pages. My admin account has WP Role ADMIN. When I publish link to drive/e.g. C:/ under admin, link is working. When I publish with 1 of my users, link is not working.

Any idea how to set rights for link without giving ADMIN rights? To Add user to Roles - Link categories is not enough.

Many many help for your help.

Is this a WP link that you're creating via Links > Add New ?

What is the problem with the link:

  • link is not displayed?
  • when link is clicked, file does not display?
  • something else?

Hi Kevin,

WP version: 3.0.1, RS version: 1.2.7

Link is to HTML page which is on drive (M:\\Folder1\Test\xy.html). If you click on Publish, first time it is displayed, if you Refresh it, then the path changes to http:\\servername\Folder1\Test\xy.html. And then you have message - Page can not be displayed.

My wordpress is under http:\\servername\wordpress also Wordpress Address und Blog-Address in Settings.

The link is not created in the category links, it is only part of article written in one category.

Many many thanks for any suggestions.

So the link is just part of the post content? Do you insert it using the visual editor link button?

So far I'm not able to recreate this error or imagine what would make it happen. Can you try disabling other plugins and switching to the default theme to ensure none of that code is causing it?
