I have a large number of users and was wondering if there was a way to disable showing the eligible users from the edit pages/posts in the admin area. Getting the list is really slowing down the system when trying to create or edit pages and posts.

These options are available:

  • Roles > Options > Features tab > Content Maintenance > "Filter Users Dropdown"
  • Roles > Options > Advanced tab > Role Assignment Interface > "Users CSV Entry"
