I thought this would be a very simple task for Role Scoper - all I need is to restrict a few categories and pages to be visible ONLY to logged in users (all of them). At first it looked like I've managed to do it (tried accessing the categories and pages after loging out, and it worked just the way I wanted it to), but the problems came when first LOGGED IN users (all but administrators) reported that they cannot see ANY categories Cry. In fact, the only way they can see most of them (aside from those that I have really restricted) is after they log out.

I've been playing around with options for hours, but I'm completely lost, I cannot figure out what the problem is. Can you give me a hint, please? As clearly as possible, because the user interface is really complex.

* Set a Category Restriction on the Post Reader role for your desired category

* Assign a Category Role of Post Reader to [WP Subscriber], or whatever role(s) should have access to it

Repeat with Page Restrictions, Page Roles.
