Hello,

First, let me thank you for sharing your work for free. It's an amazing plugin, and work great with latest version of Wordpress.

Please help me with following: i tried to restrict access to Media library so each user should see only files added by own group. I think this might be achieve using Filter Uploaded File Attachments option.

The problem is that i use Windows 2003 Server with IIS6 and i get this message:

Note: Direct access to uploaded file attachments cannot be filtered because mod_rewrite is not enabled on your server.

What can be done?

IIS is not supported for filtering of direct file access. However, Media Library access is a different issue.

Role Scoper filters attached Media Library files to match the logged user's access to the post it's attached to. Other options that relate to this are in Roles > Options > Features tab > Media Library.

Any editing roles you assign to a group for a Page / Post / Taxonomy will also allow the group members to view/edit attached files in the Media Library. However, automatic access to other group members' posts/files is not currently supported.
