Role Scoper hiding Taxonomy terms?

Hello,

Just started experimenting with Role Scoper - it's exactly what I was looking for to help with the site thatI'm working on, but have run into a strange issue.

Background:

1) I have a custom taxonomy that I created from code (no plugins), pretty simple hierarchical taxonomy.

2) I haven't changed any of the Role Scoper settings at all (yet), just have the plugin enabled.

3) I have been adding taxonomy terms to my new taxonomy from the admin interface, while logged in as the default 'admin' user

For some reason, I have 'disappearing' taxonomy terms in my term list - even though I'm logged in as Admin, I have entries in my taxonomy list that literally disappear in the admin list / interface, after I add them.

The strange thing about this is that the missing terms / items are still visible in the 'parent item' drop down combo box when adding other terms - so I can parent items to the missing terms, but the missing terms do not show in the main taxonomy list.

If I deactivate Role Scoper and then re-activate it, the missing term items show up again, but then when I start adding more terms to the taxonomy, same thing happens - terms start going missing etc.

I have no other plugins active on the site, I have a number of custom post types defined (via my custom theme), and a number of custom taxonomies (at last count there are 6 custom taxonomies and 4 custom post types), but haven't touched anything like permissions / capabilities etc from the code side yet, just focusing on getting the database structure for what I'm working on setup.

Any ideas?  I'm using the version of Role Scoper that was available from the WP plugin respository (Version 1.3.34) and the latest release of wordpress (3.1.2).

Thanx in advance,

Mike W

Can you post your register_taxonomy() code here?

Also, can you confirm that it occurs even with no other plugins enabled?
