Hi,
For some reason I can set individual restrictions for the pages and categories I created but not for the post, they just don't appear in order to be able to apply settings.
Thx

Check Roles > Options > Realm > Object Scope. Make sure "Posts" is enabled.

Yes it's enables, I did check another post checkbox tat was unchecked but it made no difference. All the others are checked by default.
Any other suggestions?

Check the Screen Options for your WP Post Edit form and make sure the Readers metabox is not disabled.
If that's not the cause, are you logged in as an Administrator, check Roles > Options > Advanced > Limited Editing Options.

The metabox wasn't disabled, am logged in as admin, checked and the limited editing options are no checked.
This is a clean install so it doesn't really make sense to me as the posts don't appear in both Restrictions/Posts and Roles/Posts.
Is there a way to PM you directly so I can send you the login info and you can have a quick look…

Oh, I thought you meant the role metaboxes in the post edit form.
The bulk admin forms Roles > Posts and Restrictions > Posts default to listing only posts which currently have roles / restrictions assigned. To display checkboxes for other posts, click "show unassigned" / "show defaulted".
