Hi
I'm using the feature of automatically assigning permissions from a page to its sub-pages. Now when a new sub-page is created and saved, the permissions are picked up from the parent page, but the newly created page is still publicly visible. I am able to correct the problem by editing any one of the permission checkboxes, saving and setting it back - just so the permissions get re-created, I guess.
Would be great if you could find the bug and correct it.
Thanks for the great work!

Can you tell me which Role Scoper version you're running, whether you have the Persistent Cache enabled, and whether flushing or disabling the cache after subpage creation corrects the behavior?

Role Scoper Version: 1.0.0-rc5b Database Version: 1.0.1
Cache is enabled.
And yes!!! problem does get fixed if I flush the cache. Guess I need to disable cache for now?
Thanks

I've located the cause of the error. Propagating post/page restrictions were a new feature in the 1.0.0 branch, and I neglected to clear the shared restrictions cache after a new restriction is automatically created. I'll include the fix in the next release, enabling you to regain the performance benefits of the persistent cache.
Thanks for the reports.
