Hello. I have some strangeness with the plugin, which is hard to describe. When it is turned off all the strangeness away, that thing in it.
I gave one of my users' role [Editor], so he helped me with the content of the site.
1. He create a page, with access to a particular group of subscribers, but he did not have access to it.
If open Access to Editor Role (Restrict checkboxes in Editor menu), then he goes to subscribers. That is, either one or the other but not together.
2. When he create a page, all that pertains to the attributes of the page - a list of design templates, 4 tabs Restriction - for each of the roles that are all in place.
But after saving the page, all these things are gone. That is simply not on the page. If you disable the plugin it all appears, except Restriction fields.
What should I do?

This occurs if you define default Page Restrictions but no default Page Roles.

Take a look at Roles > Options > Advanced > Limited Editing Elements.
- Set "Specified element IDs also require the following site-wide Role" to "no requirement".
- If you still have elements hidden, remove them from "Post Edit Form HTML IDs:" and "Page Edit Form HTML IDs:"

I don't understand. Are you trying to give him a Subscriber and Editor role for the page at the same time?

Creating a page does not automatically grant editing access if you have default Page Restrictions set.

No, if you don't need that level of control just choose a simpler configuration. Give desired users a General Role of "Page Author". The only other step is to make sure the Page Author role is NOT default-restricted for all pages.

I would take a look at Roles > Options > Realm and make sure all the Taxonomies checked there actually need RS filtering

A more basic question: Does your Editor role have both "publish pages" and "edit published pages" ?
Also, take a look at Roles > Options > RS Role Defs. If a conflict is indicated for "Page Editor", check the "sync" checkbox and click Update.

Kevin, you really need a new user interface. Setting roles and group settings should be in one place, to include many options. But then use this role to be very simple - just one click. Now more and tuning in a hundred different places, and use all of it is ambiguous. In real life, not hundreds of different places, there is one person who has a number of options - he can do and what not. I use the plugin for the third year, and still do not understand all its features.

I'll let you know when it's available.

Maybe that user needs to re-enable the form elements via "Screen Options" (next to "Help").

«Maybe that user needs to re-enable the form elements via "Screen Options"»
No.
We found the switch to this problem - if you put on the page status of "Private", then metaboxes RS disappear.

The metaboxes disappear for a regular WP Editor and you have no "Limited Editing Elements" set? I'm not seeing this.
