WordPress 3.1.4

Role Scoper 1.3.42

I want to give a limited number of users who are  WP-Authors editing rights to a single page.

I created a Group called Test Group A. Test Group A has the Role Assignment of Page Editor.

User1 is a member of the Test Group A.

The page, Sample Page, has the Assigned Role for Editor showing Test Group A checked.

When I login as User1 I see Sample Page listed under Pages, but when I select it to edit the page I get "You are not allowed to edit this item."

What do I need to change to make this happen?

After further investigation, this was due to a conflict between Role Scoper and the "PHP Execution" plugin. There is a similar conflict with "Exec PHP". Plugin modification per the instructions in Role Scoper's readme.txt may restore compatibility with PHP Execution. But in brief testing I have found that the "Shortcode Exec PHP" plugin does not exhibit this conflict.

Thanks for taking a look. Switching to the Shortcode Exec PHP plugin is not a viable option at this time. So, I modified the PHP Execution class as instructed in the readme file and all is well.

Thanks again.
